Supporting Student Life

Supporting Student Life ministries through prayer or finance

Prayer

Prayer is a very important aspect in any ministry. It is God who works in the hearts and lives of people and it is God who builds the movements. We recognise that we have complete dependency on Him and that we need His wisdom and His power as we obey Him in making disciples of all nations.

Missionaries write regular prayer letters (both in paper and electronic forms). If you would like regular updates from someone at a specific campus, use the campus contacts page to get in touch with them.

Finance

The work of Student Life is funded through the generosity of God’s people.

Support an individual missionary

Student Life missionaries develop a team of ministry partners who support them both in prayer and/or financially. Missionaries determine their support needs within a recommended band based on their family and ministry situation.

By supporting an individual missionary, you are partnering with them in presenting the gospel to university students.

If you would like to support a missionary, or find out more information about which missionaries are on a particular campus or in a particular area, please contact us and we would be happy to provide whatever information you require.

Support a campus

Each campus ministry is responsible for running outreach programs on their campus. If you would like to contribute towards the ongoing costs of an individual campus ministry, email the campus contact listed under the find us page.

Give to a special Project – launching Student Life in Perth

Over the next three years (2011-2013), Student Life plans to launch multiple student-led movements across the campuses of Perth which will be resourced by people in the eastern states.

Our prayer goals for the next three years are:
End 2011: To see a movement launched on one campus in Perth, with at least three Key Volunteers (committed Student Leaders)
End 2012 and 2013: To see growing movements on two campuses, each doubling the number of Key Volunteers every year
From 2014: To have a team of five or six missionaries raised up to be sent to Perth to be building catalytic movements across the city

Launching and supporting these catalytic movements over distance is not cheap. There is a myriad of expenses associated with sending our teams to Perth (plane flights, accommodation, car rental, food etc).

We are looking for people who would prayerfully consider giving towards this venture. Please contact Scott Adamson (ua.gr1329968427o.efi1329968427ltned1329968427uts@n1329968427osmad1329968427a.tto1329968427cs1329968427) for more information.
